If you do not already receive notifications from the Noank Fire District via email but would like to, please send an email to noankfiredistrict@gmail.com requesting to be added to the list. Notices are sent out for committee meetings, road closures, paving, water issues, zoning, trash pickup problems, etc. This is not a new list. If you are already receiving these notifications, you do NOT need to request to be added again. There are currently over 400 email addresses on the list.

The NFD is requesting our customers go to https://www.recyclect.com to make sure they are recycling properly. The facility our hauler uses for our recycling has been becoming stricter.

While Potter Court Water Main Project is still in progress we suggest customers put out their containers the night before. CWPM has agreed to start pickup at 6AM to finish the construction site area before the daily work begins.

The Noank Water Company has completed its checking of residences for lead pipes. With 95.7 % of the residences checked there were no lead pipes found. Thank you to all residents who helped by submitting photos of the water connection.
