The Noank Fire District has received notice from the CTDOT with the following information. A temporary signal light will be installed on Route 215 on the way to Mystic. The work being done to the road includes replacing the culvert headwalls and relining the existing culvert pipe under Route 215 at Anderson Marsh and Beebe Cove.
There will be continuous single lane closure on Route 215 from June 9, 2025 to November 2025. Traffic control signing, temporary pavement markings, and the temporary signal will guide motorists through the work zone in an alternating one-way manner.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
The paving of Potter Court is scheduled to begin today. CWPM has been informed. Our suggestion is that you put out your trash the night before until the project is completed -especially if your property is near Potter Court. Our thanks to all residents for their patience during the project.
See the Zoning page for important information about short-term rentals
