FEMA has recently published PRELIMINARY flood maps with revisions looking for public comment. These maps can be found at the following links (Effective and Preliminary). Note that the flood map panels updated does not include the coastal panel that covers the Noank peninsula. A full size print of the PRELIMINARY panels are located at the Noank Firehouse.

Any comments concerning the maps (i.e., where the mapping might be incorrect) should be submitted via email to the Noank Fire District (Noankfiredistrict@gmail.com)
no later than September 6th to be incorporated into a single submittal to FEMA.
