The Noank Water Company is now offering the option of payment by credit card. There will be a 3% convenience fee for using the service.

Noank Water Company Tips for Your Home During Freeze

Beginning on Friday, March 20 there will be a coffee and tea social hour in the basement of the Noank Firehouse. The time will be from 9 am to 11 am on Wednesdays and Fridays. This will be by donation only and residents are encouraged to bring a friend, and if you’d like bring a breakfast snack to share.

Coffee and Tea will be provided and have been donated by a generous resident.

We will be looking for a volunteer or two to help with set up and clean up.

Please use the back basement door for entry and exit.

Ted Rathjen(Water Company Superintendent) has some tips to keep your water from freezing during the cold stretch.

Keep access to your basement or crawl space closed.
Keep cabinet doors on exterior walls open.
Turn outside hose off.
Leave a couple of faucets on at a trickle.

Do you have a fire hydrant near your house? Please clear away snow from around the fire hydrant to ensure a quicker response during any emergencies. There are 82 hydrants and limited manpower. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Noank Fire Department Needs Your Help.

CT Alert is a service which will allow all residents to receive alerts when emergencies occur. In order to receive the alerts, you must sign up using the link below. Noank Fire District requests all residents to sign up for CT Alert. This will enable the Fire District, Water Department, or Fire Department to send Alerts and updates during emergencies. Please note this system will be used for life safety issues only.
